I’m Ben,
My experiences make me...me!
Once struggling with addiction and unemployment, I overcame my many years of troubles and joined one of the world's most elite fighting forces as a Royal Marines Commando. Spending over ten years in the regiment, I toured the world, fought in combat operations, and have been responsible for training hundreds of recruits at the Commando Training Centre, Lympstone.
After being medically discharged from the commandos, I entered the business world with the full intent of success, applying my Commando mindset wherever I turned. I have coached and worked with some of the biggest names in business and sport, from elite athletes to executives and directors within global banks, businesses, and organisations. I have helped thousands of people from across many diverse organisations find their edge with simple engagement and leadership strategies, incorporating resilience, motivation and wellbeing training into my work.
With an entrepreneurial flare, my quest to realise my own potential has seen me co-found and grow a multitude of successful businesses, whilst working alongside and coaching some of the world's leading brands; training, coaching and mentoring them to find success within their people and teams.
A successful author, my book, Commando Mindset, is helping thousands of people realise their potential and live more fulfilled lives. Published by Penguin and forwarded by Jason Fox, the book has been featured across many media spreads and has been quoted as ‘the book which helps you redefine your purpose.’
I now spend my time balancing between coaching and speaking events, and leading my tech start-up www.letsloopin.com, building technology that is designed in using the most cutting edge AI technology, to help people personally develop and support their wellbeing.
From drug addict to the battlefields. Warzones, to the boardroom. Coaching, to technology. I have experienced an interesting things to date, with a deep passion for using my experiences as lessons for others, through...well...blogging!
